Register for Training

There are two ways to sign up for adult learning sessions:

  1. Select the course and sign up online using our online adult learning registration system (preferred method)
  2. Download the Adult Learning Registration form, then fill out and return the registration form along with any payments.

Read the course descriptions to determine what courses you need to take. Check for prerequisites and any other requirements. Be sure to plan ahead for what you might need later in the year. Please register before the course deadline as they do fill up. Pre-registration is mandatory because space is limited, sessions are sometimes cancelled, or details change and we will need to contact you.

Confirmation

You should receive a confirmation that you are in the class by mail. Please print the confirmation and bring it to class. The session facilitator will now ask for your confirmation. If you do not have your printed confirmation and are not on the roster you will be asked to reschedule for a later date!

Also, if you do not register by the course deadline you may not receive your confirmation in time. If you haven't heard about your acceptance into a class and are in doubt, please call the Adult Learning Department at 504-733-8220.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify us at least 24 hours before the class if you are not going to attend – payments will not be transferred or refunded unless we receive prior notification of your cancellation!
