Volunteer Resources

Thank you for volunteering to make a difference in the lives of girls. Volunteers make up the backbone of Girl Scouting, and we couldn't do it without you. You are not alone. The structure of the Girl Scout Council is designed to provide you with the support and help you need to do your job.

Forms, Publications, and other Resources

The Volunteer Essentials 2013 to be used as a reference following new leader support training. Do not neglect attending this meeting! The council volunteer forms are located in the Forms/Publications section.

Our annual Program Power & Training Guide is mailed to all troop leaders (01s) in September to help you plan your troop's year. Additional information can be found throughout the year in the Calendar section.

Safety Activity Checkpoints, on our web site, offers in-depth safety guidelines and tips that adult volunteers use for Girl Scout sports and activities, ranging from canoeing to surfing to selling cookies. Girls can also use these checkpoints to ready their group for a girl-led activity.
