It's all about the GIRLS!
Girl Scouts Louisiana East is a charitable organization that needs donations to continue to serve 16,500 girl and 7,100 adult members yearly.
Since the time that Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, sold her pearls to fund the financial needs of Girl Scouting, Girl Scouts have relied on the contributions of committed adults.
All donations, large and small are vitally important to Girl Scouts. Without the contributions of community spirited adults, we could not provide the programs and services to the members we serve.
We are steadfast in our commitment to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. With programs created for each age level girls are able to work with and create friendships with others. In Girl Scouting girls are encouraged to participate in physical and outdoor activities, health and fitness, financial literacy, civic responsiblity, and community involvement.
