For Girl Scout Alumnae

Welcome to Girl Scouts Louisiana East Alumnae Association

For many of us it has been more than a few years since we donned our official Girl Scout uniform and attended a troop meeting, but the memories live on! We can toast marshmallows for s'mores with the best of 'em! But what we all received from the Girl Scout experience was more than songs, games, camping, and cookies. We have grown into who we are with the support of caring, mentoring adult role models. Today- girls face different challenges. Today- you are that role model for girls. Today- you are an ambassador for Girl Scouting, just by being you. Today- girls are building their futures just as you did, thanks in part to Girl Scouting!

Girl Scouts Louisiana East has established a webpage on the new Girl Scout Alumnae Association website in which former Girl Scouts and Girl Scout volunteers can reconnect, make new friends, and participate in community service or specific short-term or long-term volunteer opportunities. Alumnae do not need to have participated in Girl Scouts within Louisiana to be considered part of this association.

Share Your Story

What is your fondest Girl Scout memory? Perhaps it was camping out for the first time or attending a father/daughter dance. We want to hear it! Please take a moment and share your own Girl Scout story. Selected stories are posted on the council website. Email your wonderful story to Hillary Christiansen at hchristiansen@gsle.org.
