Girl Scouts of all ages (Daisy – Ambassador) are invited to bring a sack lunch and come Swing into Spring!  The cost to attend is $10 per girl (Safety-Wise ratio adults $2), and the fee includes program fees and one patch per girl. Please try to limit the number of adult participants as each adult will be taking the spot that a girl could occupy.  The registration deadline is March 23 and registration is limited, so get your troop signed up now.

Community Service Project - American Red Cross Comfort Kits

OK troops, it's time to make the world a better place by collecting donated items (see list) to create comfort kits which go to victims of natural disasters or other emergencies in our area.  Join Girl Scouts and the Louisiana Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross for this community service project.

Have your troop hold its own drive to collect what you can from the list, bringing your donations to Swing into Spring for drop off and participating in the actual making of emergency comfort kits!  If your troop cannot attend Swing into Spring, but would still like to participate in this community service, contact your Service Unit Advisor to find a local troop that will be attending and have them bring your donations.

What else will be going on at Swing into Spring?  Well...a lot!

Come see live animals and learn about animal rescue from Magic Happens Animal Rescue
