For Girl Scout Juniors – Cadettes

Become a “smart cookie” and learn financial literacy through a fun and interactive all day session that will earn you some of Girl Scouts’ NEW Financial Literacy and Cookie Business Badges: Business Owner, Cookie CEO, Budgeting, Consumer Insights, Budgeting, Business Plan, Marketing, Think Big (Badges are based on age level).

You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with successful businesswomen from the community, as you enhance your business and financial knowledge while boosting your self esteem and leadership skills. Smart Cookie U is a fun way to put your newfound skills into practice as you prepare for the largest, girl led business in the country: the Girl Scout Cookie Program!

Where: University of Southeastern Louisiana, University Center, 800 W. University Ave., Hammond, LA 70402
Fee: $5 per girl which covers materials, theme t-shirt, and lunch.
Capacity: Maximum 150 girls
Registration: Complete the GSLE Program Event Registration form for each troop (including troop roster on back) or individual and fax with credit card payment or mail with check or credit card payment to: Girl Scouts Louisiana East, 841 S. Clearview Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70121 / Fax: 504-733-8219. Registration Opens: September 30, 2012 Deadline: December 9, 2012 or when maximum capacity is reached.
